Audience Analysis: ESPN Draws Lowest Yankees-Red Sox "SNB" Since Late '13

ESPN finished with 1.88 million viewers for Red Sox-Yankees last Sunday, marking the net's lowest audience for the rivalry on "Sunday Night Baseball" since September '13. ESPN had the same matchup for "SNB" the week prior (May 1), with that game drawing 2.44 million viewers. This past Sunday's game aired opposite Thunder-Spurs Game 4 on TNT. Last year's two Red Sox-Yankees matchups on "SNB" averaged 2.3 million viewers. There is one more scheduled matchup between the two clubs on "SNB" slated for July 17.

NOTES: TNT on Wednesday night finished with 6.3 million viewers for the Warriors' Game 5 clincher against the Trail Blazers, marking the most-viewed NBA game on cable for this season to date....Golf Channel drew 184,000 viewers for the final round of the PGA Tour Champions Insperity Invitational last Sunday from 5:00-7:00pm ET. The senior tournament featured the debut of John Daly, who finished tied for 17th. Leading into the telecast, Golf Channel averaged 249,000 viewers for the final round of the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic from 3:00-5:00pm, which saw Ariya Jutanugarn hold off Amy Yang, Morgan Pressel and Stacy Lewis by one stroke.
