Audience Analysis: UFC Beats PBC On Saturday, But Below Previous Spring Cards

"UFC on Fox 19" last Saturday night finished with 2.49 million viewers for a telecast headlined by Glover Teixeira-Rashad Evans. The fight card had seen a number of fighter revisions leading up to the event due to injuries. That audience figure is down 9% from 2.75 million viewers for the telecast headlined by Luke Rockhold-Lyoto Machida last April. Evans previously headlined a UFC-Fox telecast back in January ’12 against Phil Davis, which was the net’s second-ever UFC telecast. That telecast averaged 4.66 million viewers. While down from recent events, "UFC on Fox 19" was well ahead of the Premier Boxing Champions telecast that aired head-to-head on NBC. That telecast drew 1.26 million viewers. UFC also easily topped PBC among men 18-34 and 18-49.
