Tiger, Nicklaus Featured In New Videos Promoting Golf Tourism In Palm Beach County

Golfers such as Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus with homes and businesses in Palm Beach County are "singing the area's praises in a series of new videos" that each feature a different golfer "speaking about why they live [there] and why out-of-towners should come visit," according to Jennifer Sorentrue of the PALM BEACH POST. The videos are part of a "push by Discover The Palm Beaches, the county's tourism marketing arm, to promote the county as a vacation destination for golf enthusiasts." Among the other golfers who "have agreed to be 'ambassadors' for the county" are Rory McIlroy, Ernie Els, Rickie Fowler, Camilio Villegas and Daniel Berger. Local tourism officials have "dubbed Palm Beach County as 'Florida'sGolfCapital." They plan to "share the videos on the tourism organization's social media channels," including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube (PALM BEACH POST, 4/20).
