Copa America Seen As Biggest Soccer Tourney In America Since '94 World Cup

The tournament, featuring 16 teams from North, Central and South America to be played in June in 10 U.S. cities, will be shown domestically on Fox Sports and Univision and is being billed as the largest soccer event to be played on American soil since the ’94 FIFA World Cup. “This is the biggest tournament nobody is talking about,” said Fox Sports National Networks President Jamie Horowitz. MLS Business Ventures President & Managing Dir Gary Stevenson added, "This will be like a mini-World Cup.”
