MLB Once Again Holding 5K Color Run In Conjunction With All-Star Game

MLB will partner with The Color Run for the third consecutive year to stage a 5K event at this summer’s All-Star Game festivities in San Diego. The Color Run All-Star 5K presented by Nike will be held Sunday, July 10 in downtown San Diego as an untimed paint race, following up on similar events two years ago in Minnesota and last year in Cincinnati. The day before The Color Run, MLB will also work with outdoor yoga outfit Soul Pose, part of the same parent company as The Color Run, to stage a new yoga event at San Diego’s Waterfront Park. The new Soul Pose All-Star Yoga will feature a 60-minute yoga event that will include music, body paint, bubbles and other elements. Registration for both events has been opened. “The Color Run’s route downtown and along the Embarcadero will showcase some of the best views our city has to offer,” said Padres Senior VP & CMO Wayne Partello. “Soul Pose All-Star Yoga at Waterfront Park is sure to be a popular addition to the lineup of activities that allow fans to get involved in All-Star Week.”
