Long-time ESPN exec RAPHAEL POPLOCK is joining The Players’ Tribune as Exec VP/Partnerships & Business Development. Poplock has been ESPN VP/Games & Partnerships, leading global partnerships and cross platform-games businesses. He will join TPT on Monday. TPT President JAYMEE MESSLER said she was excited to welcome an exec with his experience to help them build the platform that was officially launched a year ago. Messler said. “As we move into year two, our focus is shifting to scale and revenue. With Raphael’s proven track record and experience, he will help us build our strategy as we look to drive revenue and profitability" (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

EXECS: MSG Sports named NBA VP/Team Marketing & Business Operations JORDAN SOLOMON Exec VP, effective tomorrow. He will report to MSG Sports President & CEO DAVID O'CONNOR. Solomon will lead business operations for all pro teams playing at MSG, as well as the NBA D-League Westchester Knicks (MSG). Prior to joining the NBA league office in '14, Solomon was with McKinsey & Co. for eight years (THE DAILY)....Orlando City SC named Scottish club St. Mirren Head of Development DAVID LONGWELL Dir of the MLS club's U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
