Atlanta United Releases Price Structure For Season Tickets at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Expansion MLS club Atlanta United’s season-ticket prices will range from $20-225, and the sales process "will start next week for Founders’ Club members in the order they joined," according to Roberson & Tucker of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. The most expensive tickets "will be found in the SunTrust Club section of Mercedes-Benz Stadium at midfield," with a total cost of $4,050 for 18 home games. The least expensive tickets "will be in the 'Supporter’s' section, which will be behind a goal in front of a wall of windows framing the city skyline, or on the other end of the stadium behind the opposite goal." The total cost for 18 home games in those sections "is $360 per season ticket." Only Founders’ Club members "can purchase season tickets at this point." The cost to join is $50 and "will count toward the purchase of a season ticket." A member may purchase as many as eight season tickets. The team said that there are "approximately 10,000 members in the Founders’ Club who have pledged to purchase between 29,000-30,000 season tickets." Atlanta United President Darren Eales "declined to say what the team expects the conversion percentage of pledges to purchases will be, but said he is optimistic it will be high." Mercedes-Benz Stadium "will not be complete" when the MLS season starts in March '17 due to construction delays, but team Owner Arthur Blank said that the stadium should open by that July and he "expects to play 17 regular season home games" at the $1.4B stadium (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 2/5).
