NFL Sees Small Regular-Season Attendance Decline; Titans, Rams Down Sharply At Home

NFL teams averaged 68,400 fans per game during the regular season, down slightly compared to '14. There were also 12 teams this season that played to at least 100% capacity at their home venues. The Cowboys led all teams with 91,459 fans per game at AT&T Stadium, up 1.5% from last season. The Cardinals led all clubs in gains, up 3.6% at Univ. of Phoenix Stadium. The Bills, Steelers and Buccaneers were the only other clubs to see over a 3% gain. The Titans saw the biggest decline at home, with attendance down just less than 10%. With speculation all season that the team could relocate to the L.A. area next season, the Rams also saw a sharp drop at the gate. Average attendance at Edward Jones Dome was down 8.1% (THE DAILY).
