TECH CRUNCH's Drew Olanoff noted Oculus Rift, Samsung, Cavaliers F LeBron James and his platform "Uninterrupted" launched a VR experience "called 'Striving for Greatness'" during the Cavs-Warriors game on Christmas Day. The spot sees "everyone lip-syncing 'Welcome to the Terrordome' by Public Enemy." The VR experience was developed by Oculus Studios, James' "Uninterrupted" and "directed by Felix & Paul studios" (TECHCRUNCH.com, 12/27). VARIETY's Janko Roettgers noted if you "got a Gear VR headset this holiday," then you will "be able to immerse yourself" in the 12-minute VR experience. The documentary "shows James during training sessions" with his trainers and himself. "Uninterrupted" previously "released some of the footage," but this is the "first time that it is available for a VR headset" (VARIETY.com, 12/25).

YOU LIKE THAT! ESPN.com's Darren Rovell reported Redskins QB Kirk Cousins has "filed for the trademark to the phrase 'You Like That'" (TWITTER.com, 12/21). In DC, Scott Allen noted the application is for "protection of various goods and services bearing the mark, including bumper stickers, hooded sweatshirts, T-shirts and electronic billboard advertising." Around the time that the application for 'You like that' was filed, Cousins began "selling 'You like that' T-shirts to raise money for charity" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 12/24).
