Pepsi Leads Pouring Rights At Bowl Games, While Levy Is Tops Among Concessionaires

Dr Pepper is the official soft drink of the CFP and Coca-Cola is an NCAA Corporate Champion, but Pepsi will be the soda that is most-often poured at the 41 bowl games taking place over the next several weeks. Pepsi has pouring rights at 21 of the venues hosting bowl games this season. Coca-Cola has pouring rights at 18 venues, while Dr Pepper has only one. However, Coca-Cola will lead the way on the sponsorship front, as the Atlanta-based company is an official sponsor of 12 bowl games. Dr Pepper has partnered with eight games, and Pepsi is a sponsor of five. Meanwhile, Levy Restaurants will provide general concessions at seven bowl games, the most of any food provider.

NOTES: Pepsi and Dr Pepper's figures each include shared rights at AT&T Stadium, host of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium, which hosts the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, has no exclusive soda partner. However, Coca-Cola is a major sponsor of the committee and Coke products will be poured during the game. Cotton Bowl Stadium at Fair Park, home of the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl, also has no exclusive soda partner, but Coke, Pepsi and Dr Pepper will all be served. Concessions data excludes the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl (played at Sam Boyd Stadium) and Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl (Arizona Stadium), whose concessions are handled in-house. Also excluded are the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, which does not have an exclusive concessionaire.
