Indians Selling Tickets Before Holidays, With Chance To Buy Seats For Opening Day

The Indians for the first time in four years are "selling a limited number of seats before the holidays," according to Kevin Kleps of CRAIN'S CLEVELAND BUSINESS. The team's Holiday Six Pack "gives fans the chance to buy seats to six weekend games." The package "starts at $84" and gives fans the option of "choosing six Friday, six Saturday or six Sunday contests." All six Friday dates "are on dollar dog and fireworks nights, and each Saturday contest features a promotional item." The Sunday games are "Kids Fun Days." In the last few years, non-season-ticket holders "didn’t have the opportunity to purchase seats until after the holidays." The Indians said that fan feedback "made them rethink that plan, and they’re offering this caveat to those who purchase a six pack of tickets prior to Thanksgiving: The chance to purchase Opening Day seats" against the Red Sox on April 4 (CRAINSCLEVELAND.com, 11/24).
