In Boston, Sarah Shemkus reports locally based candy company UnReal Brands' sales "surged" last Friday after Patriots QB Tom Brady "released a video declaring he had hidden autographs and other surprises in 50 buckets of its candy at Whole Foods stores throughout New England." Company Founder Michael Bronner said of the video that has been viewed 1.7 million times, "The reach has been huge. We were sold out. Our team, from 5 a.m. (Wednesday), went and restocked the shelves on our own" (BOSTON GLOBE, 10/30).

I JUST WANT YOU: Learfield Licensing Partners on Wednesday announced that client Georgia Southern Univ.’s trademark licensing department has partnered with country music star Cole Swindell and KPEntertainment for an exclusive line of apparel produced by school licensee The Game. The new venture between Swindell and Georgia Southern will produce a select offering of branded caps and T-shirts that will be sold in stores throughout the Southeast. A limited number of pieces will also be sold on Swindell's tour. Product will be available at the Georgia Southern Bookstore as well as many area retailers beginning mid-November (Georgia Southern).

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: Sony on Thursday announced that action sports athlete Travis Pastrana is the newest member of Team Action Cam. The partnership is an expansion of the existing Sony Action Cam partnership with action sports brand Nitro Circus (Sony).
