Branded Air: ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" Segment Sponsors Include DraftKings, FanDuel

Continuing THE DAILY’s look at sponsored segments in NFL pregame shows, ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” is the only program featured this week to have segments from both daily fantasy sites DraftKings and FanDuel. Snickers is its title sponsor. Snickers is made by Mars, an official sponsor of the NFL since ‘02.  The show also features “Who Are You Lovin’?” Presented by McDonald’s, a segment that appeared in the CBS and NBC pregame shows as well. Domino’s also sponsors a segment on the show. Other sponsors include Buffalo Wild Wings, Chevrolet, La Quinta Inns & Suites, United Airlines and Verizon. Verizon has been an official sponsor of the NFL since ‘10.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
