NFL Marketing Notes: Seahawks Extend Delta Air Lines Partnership

The Seahawks has announced a multi-year extension with Delta to continue serving as the team's official airline. The Seahawks will continue to charter Delta for every road game and the airline will continue to title the Delta Sky360 Club at CenturyLink Field. As part of the partnership extension, the Seahawks also rebranded their five-state, 48-station radio network the Delta Air Lines Radio Network (Seahawks).

ORANGE MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO! KING 5 NEWS reported Starbucks and Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch "have teamed up to create the Beast Mode Frappuccino." Twenty-four cents from every drink sold in Washington state and Oakland "will go to Lynch's Fam 1st Family Foundation, which serves underprivileged youth" in the aforementioned city. Starbucks "will donate up to $100,000 in proceeds and plans to kick off the campaign with a $24,000 contribution to Lynch's foundation" (KING5.com, 10/20).

WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE: In Phoenix, Mike Sunnucks noted Shea Homes "has inked a sponsorship deal" with the NFL Cardinals. Every time an opposing team "gets a false start penalty, which often stem from crowd noise, University of Phoenix Stadium LED screens will highlight the home builder" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/20).
