SportsBusiness Daily Seeks Assistant Editor

SBD seeks Assistant Editor to handle news aggregation, line-editing, writing and other tasks. Full time position would be a Sunday-Thursday shift and feature work for Morning Buzz, The Daily, Closing Bell, etc. AE would assist on creating and updating story budget, track daily and weekly deadlines and make sure stories are well written and adequately sourced and documented.  Must be adaptable and have ability to pick up multiple tasks, must be comfortable with news aggregation, as well as working independently in a fast-paced news environment.  Job is based in Charlotte, NC. Must have two to four years of editorial experience, excellent writing and copy editing skills, strong knowledge of the sports business, be familiar and comfortable with news aggregation and comfortable working on multiple deadlines.
