Nice Shot: Kevin Durant Becomes Latest All-Star To Join The Players' Tribune

The Players’ Tribune today announced Thunder F Kevin Durant will join the company as deputy publisher. In his new role, Durant will work closely with founding publisher Derek Jeter to help develop content, create tools to assist athlete communication and expand TPT’s reach. Jeter in a statement said he was pleased to add Durant. Editorial content from Durant will be published in the coming weeks. Durant’s addition comes about a year after TPT launched as a digital platform for athletes. TPT President Jaymee Messler said, “We will all work together to develop and improve the platform. As we close out our first year, Kevin’s forward-thinking business mindset, popularity, and global presence will help us sustain our forward momentum and will make him a meaningful asset to our team.”
