Daytona Int'l Speedway named ISC Senior Dir of Partnership Strategy JENNY GOCO Dir of Partnership Management (DIS)....The MLB Cardinals named former MLBer RANDY FLORES Dir of Scouting (Cardinals). Flores will "oversee the Cardinal's draft approach, from the scouting of amateur players to the evaluation of those players to the strategy behind the use of their bonus pool." Flores "fills the role last held" by CHRIS CORREA, who oversaw the '15 Draft, "but was dismissed soon after for his alleged role in the hacking" of the Astros' database (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 8/29). Flores is the "fourth different director of amateur scouting in the past five seasons." Though the club "originally looked outside the organization for a replacement, under the circumstances they may have felt more comfortable bringing back a familiar face," as Flores played for the team from '04-08 (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 8/30)....The AHL Grand Rapids Griffins named TARA BOLIARD and PETER VAN DAME Season Ticket Sales Account Execs. The club also promoted MICHAEL SPRUIT to Digital Media Production Assistant (Griffins).
