Buyers & Sellers: Two Former Dolphins List Their South Florida-Area Homes

Jets WR BRANDON MARSHALL has put his Broward County (Fla.) home on the market for $4.495M, "about a $500,000 price drop" from when he originally listed it last year. The six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom home features an HD home theater, game room and a bar with a "suspended fish tank" (SUNTIMES.com, 7/23)....Browns LB KARLOS DANSBY has listed his Ft. Lauderdale-area home for $4.39M (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/28)....Former ESPN Radio host COLIN COWHERD "has sold his home" in West Hartford, Conn., for $1.15M after buying it in '10 for $1.34M. The 6,100-square-foot home includes "five bedrooms and four bathrooms." Cowherd "also has a home on the market" in Naples, Fla., for $4.25M that includes "four bedrooms and four bathrooms" within 3,562 square feet of living space (LATIMES.com, 7/25). The sale came prior to ESPN parting ways with Cowherd earlier than expected after his recent controversial comments (THE DAILY)....Mavericks G DERON WILLIAMS, who previously played for the Nets, put his 6,800-square-foot N.Y. apartment "on the market" for $33.5M. Williams in '13 paid $15.8M for the apartment, which "comes with six bedrooms," as well as a "floating staircase and a climate-controlled wine room" (N.Y. POST, 6/30).
