Relativity Sports' DOUG HENDRICKSON has indicated that the biopic of his client, Seahawks RB MARSHAWN LYNCH, "is never going to see the light of day." Hendrickson "blames the movie's failure on director MARIO BOBINO." Hendrickson in a Rolling Stone magazine article said of Bobino, "He did a terrible job, and the film will never be released." The movie -- "FAMILY FIRST: THE MARSHAWN LYNCH STORY" -- was filmed last summer "on a budget of about $100,000." Now that Lynch "wants nothing to do with the movie, Bobino is thinking about making a movie about the process that went into making Lynch's failed movie" (CBSSPORTS.com, 7/7).

NAMES: Longtime Houston sports radio announcers BARRY WARNER and TOM FRANKLIN have "been selected for induction" into the Texas Radio HOF. Former sports talk show hosts ANITA MARTINI and MIKE EDMONDS "will be inducted posthumously" (CHRON.com, 7/6)....Indians Chair & CEO PAUL DOLAN "will help lead" the '15-16 fundraising campaign for the United Way of Greater Cleveland (CRAINSCLEVELAND.com, 7/6)....Browns RB DUKE JOHNSON yesterday "held a charity bowling event at Strike 10 Bowling and Sports Lounge" in Miami through his recently established eponymous foundation. The event "raised funds that will be going toward a school supply drive in August" (MIAMI HERALD, 7/8)....Rockets GM DARYL MOREY and ESPN's FRANK CALIENDO today were scheduled to begin play in the U.S. Open table tennis championships in Las Vegas. The week-long tournament features 1,000 players from 33 countries (THE DAILY).
