Buyers & Sellers: King Felix Selling $3.8M Home; Dipoto Wastes No Time Listing In O.C.

A $3.8M home in Bellevue, Wash., owned by Mariners P FELIX HERNANDEZ "has come on the market." The two-story home, built in '09, has 5,040 square feet of space, "including formal living and dining rooms, a center-island kitchen, a den/office, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms." Large picture windows "take in views of Lake Washington." Among the amenities are a "lower entertainment level featuring a wet bar, a theater room and a wine cellar" (LATIMES.com, 6/27).

NOT WASTING TIME: Former Angels GM JERRY DIPOTO, who on Wednesday parted ways with the team, "may be packing up more than just his office," as he has "listed his home in Newport Beach for sale" at $2.995M. The two-story home "in a gated community was recently remodeled and has dark hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, a media room and a family room with three wine coolers." Some "4,300 square feet of open space also includes an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room and a master retreat with a sitting area and a fireplace for a total of four bedrooms and 5.25 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 7/1).

I'M MOVING OUT: Tennis player VENUS WILLIAMS has "sold her Bel-Air home in an off-market transaction" for $6.85M. The6,500-square-foot home "has a Tudor-inspired house, a swimming pool with a raised spa, an entertainer’s patio and a lighted tennis court on about two acres" (LATIMES.com, 6/30)....Former NHLer ROB NIEDERMAYER "has sold" his five-bedroom, Mediterranean-style home in Crystal Cove, Calif., for $3.6M. The 4,058-square-foot home in the "guard-gated Newport Coast community backs to the Pelican Hill Golf Course and has views of the Pacific Ocean" (ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, 6/29)....Former NFLer HEATH SHULER had his 11-acre mountain estate in Waynesville, N.C., auctioned off for $1.54M (THE DAILY)....An Emerald Bay, Calif., home owned by retired tennis player LINDSAY DAVENPORT "went into escrow just four days after it was listed last Monday" (OCREGISTER.com, 6/29)....The Lodi Township, Mich., home of former MLBer BRANDON INGE "has been sold" for $2M. The 13,000-square-foot home includes "five full bathrooms and two half baths, a Jacuzzi, a small baseball field in the front yard and access to a pond behind the house" (MLIVE.com, 7/2).

LOOKING FOR A BUYER: Former NBAer ALLAN HOUSTON has listed his Armonk, N.Y., home, "complete with indoor basketball court and trophy room," for $19.9M. Measuring about 19,300 square feet, the house "sits on more than 10 acres" in the "exclusive gated community of Conyers Farm" (WSJ.com, 6/30)....Nuggets coach MIKE MALONE listed his Granite Bay, Calif., home for $1.3M. Malone, the former Kings coach, "bought the house" in '13 for $1.24M. The downstairs master bedroom "sports a fireplace and a soaking tub." In all, there are "five bedrooms, five bathrooms and three fireplaces in 4,891 square feet" (LATIMES.com, 7/1).
