Audience Analysis: Spike Gets Best Bellator Viewership Yet For Kimbo Slice-Ken Shamrock

Spike TV last Friday averaged 1.58 million viewers for the Kimbo Slice-Ken Shamrock bout, marking the most-viewed Bellator MMA fight ever on the net. It also was the second-most-viewed sports telecast on all of cable TV for the week ending June 21. Meanwhile, NBC averaged 2.89 million viewers on Saturday night for "Premier Boxing Champions" from 8:30-11:01pm ET which featured Shawn Porter-Adrien Broner. The fight averaged 943,000 viewers among adults 18-49, coming close to what it drew on Saturday for the U.S. Open (1.07 million viewers from 8:30-10:44pm).
