NBA Finals Saw Strong Growth Among Viewers In Asian, High-Earning Home Demographics

Viewership among those of Asian descent represented the largest gain in a demo breakdown of the NBA Finals on ABC. While the six-game Warriors-Cavaliers series saw an overall 28% viewership bump compared to the five-game Spurs-Heat series last year, the Asian demo was up 52%. That compares to viewership among the African-American demo, which was up 18%. Other demos seeing big gains were those with college education of 4+ years (+48%) and those with a household income of over $100,000 (+49%).
