Full Play Group Controlling Principals HUGO and MARIANO JINKIS, a father-and-son pair of defendants charged in the FIFA corruption case, "turned themselves in Thursday in Argentina, where their lawyer promised to fight their extradition" to the U.S. The two are "accused of paying bribes and kickbacks to soccer executives to secure lucrative marketing rights for their company." Only one defendant in the FIFA case, Valente Corp. Controlling Principal JOSE MARGULIES of Brazil, "remains at large" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 6/19).

JOEY ON THE GO: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is off this weekend, and driver JOEY LOGANO is “taking full advantage” by turning an appearance in California for his sponsor AAA “into a mini vacation.” He said, “I thought a little bit deeper and said, ‘Triple-A owns a travel agency.’ I had to put a vacation together while I was out there. TIMES review of singer JAMES TAYLOR’s new song “Angels of Fenway” was categorized as “overrated.” His “earnest tribute to his hometown Red Sox and their 2004 World Series win is a musical abomination.” A “bizarrely reggae-tinged yarn with the sort of ham-fisted chorus best suited to public July 4 celebrations, this attempt at a sports anthem may have cursed the team all over again” (LATIMES.com, 6/18).
