A Phoenix city judge yesterday "dismissed a solicitation charge" against Pro Football HOFer WARREN SAPP due to his "successful completion of a diversion program, records show." Sapp "pleaded guilty in April to one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of assault, according to court documents, but separate plea agreements forged with city prosecutors indicated the charges, both misdemeanors, would be dismissed if he met certain terms" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 5/19).

NAMES: TNT NBA analyst CHARLES BARKLEY this summer will make a cameo appearance on USA Network's "SUITS" (NBC)....WNBA Sparks C CANDACE PARKER tomorrow will be starring on Nickelodeon's "NICKY, RICKY, DICKY & DAWN" (THE DAILY)....Oklahoma State Univ. President BURNS HARGIS yesterday was named to the CFP's Board of Managers, replacing Univ. of Texas President BILL POWERS, who is "leaving his position with the school next month" (CHRON.com, 5/18)....Suns fan JARED ORNOSKI is battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and yesterday morning signed a contract with the team that would make him an “honorary member of the Suns front office.” Ornoski “will attend” tonight’s NBA Draft Lottery selection show with Suns C ALEX LEN and also will “spend the next month with the team, sitting in on draft workouts and discussing team prospects” (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 5/19)....Chase Bank is “pledging up to $70,000” in support for community programs over the course of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
