Thunder F KEVIN DURANT last Friday "sold his downtown Miami penthouse" for $3.15M, "nearly doubling the price he paid four years ago" when a company he controls bought the 3,800-square-foot unit for $1.825M. The $830 per square foot Durant received is a record price for the luxury condo building (MIAMIHERALD.com, 5/8). The residence "features a modern vibe with designer finishes, a tiled wall fireplace, smart-home systems and a private elevator," as well as having walls of "floor-to-ceiling glass and a large outdoor terrace" with expansive views of Biscayne Bay (LATIMES.com, 5/11)....Hornets Owner MICHAEL JORDAN has relisted his mansion-estate on 7.39 acres of land in Highland Park, Ill., for $14.855M, after it had been "offered for as much as" $29M in '12 (LATIMES.com, 5/14)....Heat assistant coach JUWAN HOWARD on Monday "sold his seven-room condominium unit on the 53rd floor" of the Trump Int'l Hotel & Tower in Chicago for $2.78M, "close to 2 1/2 years after he placed it on the market." Howard "bought the three-bedroom, 3,080-square-foot unit" in early '09 for $2.5M and then listed it in November '12 for $2.9M (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 5/11).

TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE: Former NFLer ASANTE SAMUEL "is selling his Florida mansion, which has, among other things," a $1M swimming pool. The 18,000-square-foot home is listed at $9.5M (LATIMES.com, 5/9)....CBS NFL analyst STEVE BEUERLEIN "has listed his ocean-view home" in Dana Point, Calif., for sale at $2.695M. The 5,426-square-foot house, built in '03, has an "open-area living/dining room with a wet bar, an office with custom cabinetry, five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 5/13)....Seahawks CB RICHARD SHERMAN late last year paid $1.744M on a nearly 7,000-square-foot house in Yorba Linda, Calif., and then "started on a backyard expansion project." Among the upgrades to the one-third-acre property was "replacing the original brick-lined pool with a lagoon-style setting complete with a raised spa, a grotto, dual water slides and a waterfall feature" (LATIMES.com, 5/12).
