Peter Guber To Lead New Advisory Board For California-Based Tech Company NextVR

California-based technology company NextVR, an active player in the development of virtual reality experiences, has created a new advisory board that will be led by PETER GUBER, Mandalay Entertainment Chair & CEO and Warriors and Dodgers co-Owner. Former Turner Broadcasting exec SCOTT TEISSLER and Sports Media Advisors Founder & CEO DOUG PERLMAN also will sit on the board. The trio will provide the company strategic guidance on what has been a rapidly developing business. They have also acquired equity stakes in NextVR, though financial terms were not disclosed. “I’ve made a very significant investment,” Guber said. “But more than that, I’ve invested myself in this intellectually, emotionally and reputationally.”
