Former Bruins GM PETER CHIARELLI "has taken over" as Oilers President of Hockey Operations & GM, while Oilers Entertainment Group President & COO PATRICK LAFORGE "has stepped down." KEVIN LOWE, who had previously served as Oilers President of Hockey Operations, "becomes a vice-chair" of OEG. CRAIG MACTAVISH, who had previously served as GM, is "still with the organization, but his new role will be determined in discussions with Chiarelli" (EDMONTON JOURNAL, 4/25).

EXECS: Mizuno USA named Columbia Sportswear Dir of Global Footwear Product TODD LEWIS Global Dir of Performance Running. The move marks the "latest step as the Japanese sporting goods company with U.S. headquarters near Atlanta expands its Portland Running Center for Excellence, which was announced two years ago" (OREGONIAN.com, 4/24)....Intel named Visa Head of Sports & Entertainment Sponsorships MATT KAUFFMAN to lead its global brand experience, events and sponsorship team. Kauffman leaves Visa after a decade with the company.
