McHale will be assigned special projects, available to assist with player grievances and continue to hear appeals of on-field disciplinary matters (MLB)....Kroenke Sports & Entertainment promoted Senior VP/Ticket Sales for the Avalanche and Rapids DAVID BURKE to Senior VP & Chief Ticketing Officer (KSE)....Cable TV operator Layer3 TV added cable industry veterans SEAN RILEY and LYNNE COSTANTINI to its content advisory board. A former Fox Cable exec, Riley will help Layer 3 negotiate sports carriage deals. Riley will work with another former Fox Cable exec LINDSAY GARDNER, who is the cable operator’s Chief Content Officer (John Ourand, Staff Writer)....Langston Univ. AD MIKE GARRETT "will leave his position" in June to pursue other interests. His bio is "no longer on the athletic department website and his name does not appear on the department directory." Garrett served as USC AD from '93-'10 (LATIMES.com, 4/16)....Springfield College promoted Senior Associate AD CRAIG POISSON to AD (Springfield).
