Buyers & Sellers: Pacquiao Has Deal To Buy Beverly Hills Home Formerly Owned By Diddy

Boxer MANNY PACQUIAO is under contract to buy a 10,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home for about $12.5M. The former home of rapper SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS has seven bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a "chef's kitchen with a long center island, a home theater with a refreshment bar and a family room with an adjoining wet bar" (L.A. TIMES, 3/28)....Dodgers President of Baseball Operations ANDREW FRIEDMAN "capped a whirlwind offseason" by purchasing a 6,200-square-foot Pasadena home for just over $6.4M. The house features a "wide front porch ... a media room, a mahogany wood-paneled library and a wine cellar" (L.A. TIMES, 4/3).

COUNTING THE CLOSING COSTS: ESPN Radio 1000 Chicago's TOM WADDLE on Monday "sold his six-bedroom, 8,161-square-foot mansion" in Lake Forest, Ill. for $3.3M. Waddle "bought the 15-room country-style mansion from its builder" in '10 for $3.25M (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/3)....Clippers C RYAN HOLLINS sold his country English-style estate in L.A. for just over $2.7M -- $26,000 above the asking price (L.A. TIMES, 3/28)....The 4,000-square-foot Glendale, Calif., home of late USC baseball coach ROD DEDEAUX has sold for $2.2M. Built in the '40s, the "single-story Traditional sits on about three quarters of an acre" (L.A. TIMES, 3/31)....Baseball HOFer ROBERTO ALOMAR last week "sold a three-bedroom, 2,715-square-foot condo in a Gold Coast tower" in Chicago for $1.8M, after paying $1.5M for the unit in October '12 (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/2).

ON THE MARKET: Browns Owner JIMMY HASLAM III's Knoxville home is on sale for $4.9M after he purchased the home for $1.4M in '96 (REALTOR.com, 3/29)....Nearly three acres of land owned by former MLBer TREVOR HOFFMAN is for sale in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., for just under $2.7M. The property is "pre-approved for a building area of 25,600 square feet, with the potential for an additional 9,400 square feet" (L.A. TIMES, 4/3).
