Overnight Ratings: ESPN2 Gets 0.4 For Orlando City-NYC FC; NASCAR Again Leads Weekend

ESPN2 yesterday from 4:30-7:15pm ET drew a 0.4 overnight for the MLS debut of Orlando City SC and NYC FC, which ended in a 1-1 draw. There was no corresponding Sunday window last season. Timbers-Red Bulls in ’13 in a primetime window drew a 0.2 overnight....CBS drew a 1.8 overnight for Florida-Kentucky on Saturday afternoon, which saw the UK men’s team finish the season undefeated. The figure was below the 2.6 overnight earned by ESPN for Duke-North Carolina on Saturday night....Fox drew a 4.3 overnight for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt 400 from Las Vegas Motor Speedway yesterday from 3:45-6:45pm, up from a 4.1 overnight for the same race last season. Both races were the third race of the Sprint Cup season....NBC drew a 2.6 overnight for the final round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship yesterday, which saw Dustin Johnson win the event at Doral. Last year’s final round drew a 3.4 overnight, which saw Patrick Reed win the event by one stroke over Bubba Watson and Jamie Donaldson.
