In Virginia, David Teel profiles Atlantic 10 Commissioner BERNADETTE MCGLADE, whose conference "has thrived in her seven years" in the role. McGlade "has negotiated more lucrative television contracts and taken the A-10's men's basketball tournament from a makeshift arena in tired Atlantic City, N.J., to the cutting edge Barclays Center." Most important, she "has deftly steered the A-10 through the realignment maze that affected" most every D-I conference (Hampton Roads DAILY PRESS, 3/9).

COURT REPORT: Lawyers representing at least five fans who bought tickets on SBTickets.com for Super Bowl XLIX filed a lawsuit "against the website for failing to deliver tickets that it guaranteed to consumers." The lawsuit "accused the website of being in violation of Arizona's Consumer Fraud Act and in breach of contract, among other claims" (ESPN.com, 3/6)....DEEPAL WANNAKUWATTE, the former owner of the now-defunct World TeamTennis Sacramento Capitals, "has been ordered to repay" victims of his Ponzi scheme $108.2M.
