The Vikings promoted Exec VP/Legal Affairs & Chief Administrative Officer KEVIN WARREN to COO. Warren, who is entering his 11th season with the team and 17th in the NFL, will continue to report to Vikings President & co-Owner MARK WILF (Vikings). Warren "was already the NFL's highest-ranking black team executive in a non-football position, and the promotion solidified him as the top executive on the business side of the organization" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 2/13). Warren "has played a key role in issues related to the Vikings' new stadium" (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 2/13).

EXECS: Nike CFO DON BLAIR will retire in October after serving in the role since '99. Nike Senior VP/Finance, Strategy & Investor Relations ANDREW CAMPION will take over as CFO on Aug. 1 (OREGONLIVE.com, 2/12)....Learfield Sports named the following GMs of their collegiate properties: BRAD HARRISON for Marquette, DANI BELINISKI for Colorado State, ERIC TAYLOR for Penn, TATIA BENKONVICH for Sacramento State, RYAN CONNORS for Northwestern, JOEY KING for Boise State and LANCE GERLACH for Colorado (Learfield)....Independent Frontier League Schaumburg Boomers President & GM ANDY VIANO "has stepped down."
