A-10 Launches National Ad Campaign Celebrating Day In The Life Of Student-Athletes

The Atlantic 10 Conference has partnered with 160over90, Philadelphia, to launch a campaign that celebrates student-athletes across each of its 21 championship sports. The campaign -- dubbed "Any Arena. Any Field." -- features a one-minute, 45-second online video and three 30-second national TV spots documenting a day in the life of an A-10 student-athlete (A-10). SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Michael Smith reports the ads are "running during the A-10’s games" on ESPN, CBSSN, NBCSN and SNY. The first spot "opens with an alarm going off at 5:45 a.m., the sun rising over a dorm and athletes from several different sports walking across campus to an early workout." Action "was shot on three A-10 campuses -- Davidson, LaSalle and Saint Joseph’s." 160over90 "hired actors to appear in the spots." A-10 Commissioner Bernadette McGlade said, "We have gone through so much conference realignment and we weathered the storm pretty well. We set out last year to promote our basketball, and this year we wanted to roll out something that would capture the maturation of the full league" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/9 issue).
