Marketplace Roundup

In N.Y., John Koblin profiled the NFL's work with No More, a coalition of anti-domestic violence and sexual abuse groups, and the PSAs featuring celebs that “began appearing during games” in late September. Actress Mariska Hargitay said interest in the PSAs has increased “exponentially” since they began airing during games. Hargitay's Joyful Heart group worked with No More on the campaign. No More said that its web site in June had “a modest 35,000 page views,” but in December, it “had more than 275,000.” Koblin wrote there is “something arresting about them, especially with the likes” of Giants QB Eli Manning and Pro Football HOFers Cris Carter and Curtis Martin “doing the preaching” (N.Y. TIMES, 1/4).

UNDER THE RADAR: EUROSPORT.com noted tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has been “dropped from an underwear deal” with Danish brand JBS after a campaign with FC Barcelona F Cristiano Ronaldo "became too successful.” JBS launched a Wozniacki range of women's underwear in '12, before signing Ronaldo "for his CR7 range” in ‘13 (EUROSPORT.com, 1/4).

FIGHTING CHANCE: Oil filter brand FRAM on Friday announced an extended partnership with UFC and signed two fighters -- Johny Hendricks and Donald Cerrone -- to sponsorship deals. FRAM will support UFC in ’15 through octagon signage in major fights and prominent ad schedules on televised UFC fights and MMA web sites (FRAM).
