Morgan Stanley Managing Dir DON CORNWELL, who runs sports investment banking for the firm, is leaving his position to join PJT Partners, beginning Feb. 18. PJT is a firm started by Cornwell's former boss, PAUL TAUBMAN. Cornwell said he will continue to handle sports investment banking there. At Morgan Stanley, Cornwell handled the sales of the Bills, Steelers, MLSE and IMG. PJT is combining with the advisory business being spun off by Blackstone Group. Cornwell did not offer a reason why he is leaving Morgan Stanley (Daniel Kaplan, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Sources said that the Red Sox promoted Senior Dir or Minor League Operations RAQUEL FERREIRA to VP/Baseball Administration. She “becomes one of three women” in MLB to reach the VP level, joining league Senior VP/Baseball Operations KIM NG and Yankees Senior VP & Assistant GM JEAN AFTERMAN (WEEI.com, 11/21)....Under Armour Senior Advisor to the Chair & CEO BYRON ADAMS “has left his post.” Adams has served on the UA BOD since ’03, and he “will remain on the board” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/21)....A source said that the MLB Scouting Bureau named Reds VP/Scouting, Player Development & Int’l Operations BILL BAVASI Dir. Bavasi will replace FRANK MARCOS, “who stepped down in October to pursue interests outside of baseball" (BASEBALLAMERICA.com, 11/21)....Life Univ. promoted Dir of Rugby DAN PAYNE to AD (MDJONLINE.com, 11/23).
