The USTA BOD named First VP KATRINA ADAMS to a two-year term as Chair, CEO & President, beginning Jan. 1. Adams has served on the BOD for the past 10 years (USTA). Meanwhile, USTA BOD members RAY BENTON and JEFF WILLIAMS will be replaced in January "amid controversy around potential conflicts of interest." It was reported in August that Benton and Williams "received contracts that benefited their organizations." Benton and Williams "will be replaced" by Univision Senior VP FABRIZIO ALCOBE-FIERRO and Dallas-based attorney KATHLEEN WU (N.Y. TIMES, 11/18).
