In Ottawa, Wayne Scanlan notes Senators D Erik Karlsson yesterday "relaunched the coffee brand he helped deliver last season in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa." EK #65 is "distributed by Bridgehead and sends [C]$2 of every pound sold to the Boys and Girls Club’s Homework Club program." But Karlsson is "more than just a name attached to the brand." Last season, he "sampled batches of Bridgehead beans before deciding on this mixture, a decidedly dark roast." If the Karlsson brand "sells well, it will have a wider distribution this year" (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 11/18).

KING OF THE CASTLE: In Cleveland, Marc Bona notes locally based Hoppin' Frog Brewery has "come up with a creative t-shirt" to honor Cavaliers F LeBron James' return. "The King Gose Home" depicts the brewery's "iconic frog smacking chalk like the Cavaliers' star does before games." The shirt "retails for $17.99." Tasting room supervisor Ashley Nuske said, "It's probably one of our most popular shirts. We've got one reserved for LeBron" (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 11/18).
