N.Y.-based Ketchum Sports & Entertainment Dir ANN WOOL to President of its expanding global unit. KSE recently formalized a hub in London to serve as the European center for its operations. Wool joined Ketchum in '01 and became a partner in '09. Meanwhile, the newly expanded London KSE team will operate across Europe with the addition of VP & Associate Dir STEPH BURKE, with support from Account Supervisor SEAN FLYNN. In the U.S., KSE promoted SHAWN MCBRIDE to Exec VP/Sports and COURTNEY NALLY to Senior VP & Group Manager for Entertainment (Ketchum).

SECOND CITY
: The Chicago Sports Commission named Bulls Exec VP/Business Operations STEVE SCHANWALD Chair, replacing former Chicago '16 Olympic bid exec JOHN MURRAY, who is "stepping down from the advisory role after more than three years." Schanwald had served as Vice Chair of the city's sports tourism arm since last December and will now be tasked with "luring new sporting events to the city" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 10/18).

Aspire also hired KRISTOPHOR WARE and TALIA HAMMONDS as Sales Consultants of the Fan Relationship Management Center for the USA National Sales Center (Aspire)....The Padres on Friday announced that VP/Player Development RANDY SMITH will "transition into a new role" as Senior Advisor for Baseball Operations, "with a focus on scouting" (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 10/18)....The Rays formally promoted both CHAIM BLOOM and ERIK NEANDER to VP/Baseball Operations. Bloom joined the Rays in '05, and Neander joined in '07 (Rays).
