Russell Wilson Regains Top Spot On NFLPI List For Licensed Sales As Manziel Drops

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson ranked No. 1 on NFL Players Inc.'s top 50 player sales list for Q2, representing total sales of all officially licensed products from June 1-Aug. 31. The list is based on total overall sales of all officially licensed products from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by more than 80 NFLPI licensees. Wilson reclaimed the top spot from Browns QB Johnny Manziel, who topped the list at the end of Q1, but fell to No. 7 on the most recent list. However, Manziel remained the only rookie on the current list. The top five for Q2 was rounded out by Broncos QB Peyton Manning, 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, Patriots QB Tom Brady and Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, respectively. Bears WR Brandon Marshall made the biggest leap from Q1, jumping 18 spots from No. 31 to No. 13. Wilson also outsold all players in both Nike game jerseys and Nike t-shirts. Manning sold the most Fatheads, while Packers RB Eddie Lacy topped bobblehead sales (NFLPI).
