Peter Feigin Named Bucks President, Will Focus On Potential Arena Site

The Bucks yesterday named California-based Deluxe Entertainment Service Group CMO & Chief Revenue Officer PETER FEIGIN President. Prior to working at Deluxe, Feigin was President & COO of Marquis Jet and helped lead its acquisition by NetJets. From '98-'04, he worked for the Knicks and rose to the position of VP/Marketing. Feigin has served as a senior adviser to the Bucks since the ownership change (Bucks). In Milwaukee, Don Walker notes Feigin "has known" Bucks co-Owner MARC LASRY for 15 years. Feigin: "You'll see a very aggressive effort to extend ourselves. I am a fan of knowing people's wants and needs. And we want to be an extremely strong member of the Milwaukee business community." Feigin said that the "potential to expand the Bucks' reach, both in terms of new sponsorships and fan base, was 'limitless.'" He added that he expects to "play a major role in the selection of a site for a potential arena, how it will be financed and how it will mesh with what is anticipated to be hundreds of millions more in potential development." Feigin said that Bucks VP/Business Affairs BOB COOK also will be "heavily involved." Bucks co-Owner WES EDENS and Lasry have said that they "hope to settle on a site by the end of the year." Feigin said that there was "no question the potential for a new arena and additional development was part of what he called a 'large vision'" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/9). Also in Milwaukee, Rich Kirchen wrote under the header, "New Bucks President Feigin A Jet-Setter Heavy On Marketing Experience" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/8).
