Williams was scheduled to appear on NBC’s "Today," ABC’s "GMA" and "Live with Kelly and Michael" with the U.S. Open trophy, but she “canceled her appearances because she was too tired.” "GMA" even had "teased Williams’ appearance on Monday morning at 7 a.m., then, less than an hour later, had to tell viewers she wasn’t going to appear." NBC also confirmed Williams "was booked, and they had announced her appearance at the top of the show, before she canceled” (N.Y. POST, 9/10).
