The Bengals late on Monday announced via their website that they were "donating all proceeds from sales" of DT Devon Still's jersey to pediatric cancer research, according to Coley Harvey of ESPN.com. A team source said that less than 24 hours later, more of Still's black No. 75 jerseys had been "sold in that time span than any jersey featuring any other Bengals player ever." Still, whose daughter is battling neuroblastoma, said that the jersey sale is "one way he's trying to give back." Bengals Dir of Sales & Public Affairs Jeff Berding said that the team "wanted to get involved with Still's fundraising efforts because it has been 'overwhelmed by the support locally and nationally' that has been extended toward both the Bengals and Still." Harvey noted at points yesterday, the team's pro shop website "crashed from the response for Still's jersey." All "proceeds from the jersey -- it costs $100 and is only sold through the Bengals -- will go to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital's pediatric research efforts" (ESPN.com, 9/9).

SAY WATT? In Houston, David Barron reported Texans DE J.J. Watt is "No. 3 among the most marketable players in the NFL." A spokesperson for Fanatics.com said that "sales of Watt gear on Sunday trailed only sales totals" for Broncos QB Peyton Manning and 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. Additionally, "driven by Watt-related sales, sales of Texans gear Sunday increased" by 90% from the previous day on Fanatics.com (CHRON.com, 9/8).
