Overnight Ratings: NFL Preseason Leads Weekend Sports; NASCAR Flat At Michigan

Fox led all weekend sports telecasts with a 4.1 overnight rating for the Chiefs-Panthers preseason game last night, down from the comparable 4.9 overnight for Colts-Giants last year. The NFL preseason matchup outdrew ESPN’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pure Michigan 400, which drew a 4.0 overnight yesterday afternoon. The audience for the race from Michigan Int’l Speedway was flat compared to last year.
