Golf lifestyle channel Back9Network today will announce that it has promoted CFO & Head of Business Development CHARLES COX to CEO. Cox, who initially joined Back9Network in '12, will guide the company as it prepares to launch on DirecTV on Sept. 29. He replaces CEO, Chair & co-Founder JAMIE BOSWORTH, who is resigning to pursue other opportunities. Back9Network also promoted President CARLOS SILVA to COO, with responsibility for day-to-day TV and digital network operations. Back9Network co-Founder REID GORMAN will be named Chief Administrative Officer & Exec VP/Golf Industry Relations (Austin Karp, Assistant Managing Editor).
