    AGENT ACTION: The NFLPA last week made a “fee hike” for agents to retain membership. The hike is “from $1,200 to $1,500 for agents with fewer than 10 clients, and from $1,700 to $2,000 to agents with more than 10.” The NFLPA “explained that the increase is because of rising costs of maintaining the agent regulation system and upgrades to the union’s website.” This should “add about $200,000 to the NFLPA’s coffers, which seems like an awful lot” (BOSTON GLOBE, 7/27).

    NAMES: Auburn AD JAY JACOBS last week announced that the school will “enter a partnership with the End Child Hunger in Alabama campaign, spearheaded by Auburn’s Hunger Solutions Institute.” Jacobs, Lt.
