Barrel Of The Bat: Wrigley Field Set To Unveil Jack Daniel's-Branded Patio Section

Located "high up in the ballpark behind the press box," Jack Daniel's is "set to open the Jack Daniel's Patio at Wrigley Field on Thursday," according to Lewis Lazare of the CHICAGO BUSINESS JOURNAL. Patrons at the new spot "won't actually have a view of the playing field during Cubs games." However, sources said that it will "offer unbeatable views of the Chicago skyline -- at least as it stretches out from the corner of Clark and Addison streets in Wrigleyville on the city's north side." Jack Daniel's is "taking over a space that formerly was a Smirnoff-branded patio." A Cubs spokesperson said that Jack Daniel's has a "multi-year agreement to operate" the patio (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/21).
