StubHub's Danielle Maged Steps Down After 12 Years Leading Business Development

StubHub Global Head of Business Development & Partnerships DANIELLE MAGED is leaving the company after 12 years. Maged, a former exec with MSG, the NBA and ESPN Int'l, started with the ticket resale giant as a consultant then joined the company full time in '06. She played a key role in forging more than 125 team and property alliances, including major deals with MLB Advanced Media, AEG and Paciolan. Her next career step is undetermined. StubHub Managing Dir of Business Developments GEOFF LESTER will lead the group until a replacement is found. "Danielle Maged has been instrumental in creating the StubHub brand,” said StubHub President CHRIS TSAKALAKIS. “Through Danielle’s efforts StubHub has grown from an industry disruptor to the industry leader." Maged said, “Over the last two years, my team and I have worked on and closed some of the most innovative deals in the industry, working with some extraordinary partners. I just felt it was the right time to pass the torch. Twelve years is a long time.” Maged said she will be taking some time off before making her next career move. "I am looking at some opportunities, but I want to really think through the next step given the extraordinary experience I have had at StubHub."
