Executive Transactions

Twitter on Thursday announced that COO ALI ROWGHANI has "resigned from his executive role with the microblogging company, which has struggled to win over more users." The company in an SEC filing said that Rowghani had resigned effective Thursday and "will continue to be a Twitter employee and act as a strategic advisor to the CEO" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 6/12). RECODE DAILY’s Kara Swisher noted the move is "likely to reinforce the image of Twitter as a bit of a revolving door and a place of management chaos." Swisher: "Others think the fixing of an exec structure that is not working is a good thing” (RECODE.net, 6/12). Meanwhile, Twitter on Thursday separately announced that company VP/Media CHLOE SLADDEN also "is leaving the company" (SFGATE.com, 6/12).

Baier previously spent 10 years as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Arizona Governor's Office, while Goldenberg held the position of Western Alliance Bancorporation VP/Corporate Counsel (Suns)....Michigan Int'l Speedway Senior Dir of Operations BARRY GIBSON will retire Tuesday "after 36 years at the track" (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 6/13).
