McElroy, who had been with the NFL club since ’06, “negotiated the Cowboys stadium naming rights deal with AT&T” and was previously Dodgers Chief Sales Officer (BIZJOURNALS.com, 5/12). McElroy “will be responsible for revenue growth and marketing plans” at ASU, including “naming rights for Sun Devil Stadium,” which is in the early stage of reconstruction. McElroy also “sold naming rights” for the MLB Rangers ballpark and “with the group operating American Airlines Center.” His time with the Dodgers “included renovation of Dodger Stadium” (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 5/13).
