Former NFLPA President DOMONIQUE FOXWORTH, now a first-year graduate student at Harvard Business School, yesterday invited Seahawks CB RICHARD SHERMAN, Cardinals WR LARRY FITZGERALD and Texans RB ARIAN FOSTER to campus "as part of a forum on entrepreneurship, leveraging fame into business success, and expectations of professional athletes as role models." While the panel discussions "did touch on those topics, the three-hour event morphed into an interesting debate on race, media, social media, and reactions to Sherman’s polarizing postgame interview after the NFC Championship game, in which he trashed" 49ers WR MICHAEL CRABTREE in a "brief but wild rant." Foxworth, who played in the league seven years, said that Sherman's episode "encouraged him to put together" yesterday's event (BOSTON GLOBE, 4/24).

BLAST FROM THE PAST: Pro Football HOFers JOE MONTANA and DAN MARINO "will go head-to-head one more time this summer in what promoters are touting as the final football game at Candlestick Park," a July 12 flag-football game. The former NFL players' game is sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and is part of S.F. Rec and Park's "Last Summer at the Stick" series (S.F. CHRONICLE, 4/24).

ON THE BIG SCREEN: The cast of "Field of Dreams" will "reunite" June 13 on "the famous baseball field" where the '89 movie was set and filmed near Dyersville, Iowa. NBC's BOB COSTAS will be the "master of ceremonies" and MATT LAUER will interview the cast following a screening of the film (DES MOINES REGISTER, 4/24)....A clip from "IVERSON," a film about former NBAer ALLEN IVERSON directed by ZATELLA BEATTY, was recently revealed in advance of its "Tribeca Film Festival bow." The minute-long snippet features Heat G DWYANE WADE and NBC's TOM BROKAW. The documentary was produced by Beatty's 214 Productions alongside TED FAYE and Exec Producers Mandalay Sports Media and Moore Entertainment (VARIETY.com, 4/23). The film is "told primarily" in Iverson's "own words" (DENVERPOST.com, 4/23).

NAMES: Late Canadian freestyle skier SARAH BURKE yesterday was named to Canada's Sports HOF as part of the '14 class. Other members of the class include ski jumper HORST BULAU, cross-country skier PIERRE HARVEY, hockey player GERALDINE HEANEY and figure skater ELIZABETH MANLEY (CP, 4/23)....Nike on Monday said in a regulatory filing that newly named board member MICHELLE PELUSO is "the recipient of 2,162 shares of Nike stock." Nike's BOD last Thursday "voted to approve Peluso's appointment." She will "serve on the Company's Audit Committee and the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committee." Peluso, 42, is the CEO of Gilt Groupe (Portland OREGONIAN, 4/22)....NBA Draft prospect JORDAN MORGAN has “signed with Montgomery Sports Group” (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 4/24)….Marian Univ. this week inducted Hulman & Co.
